  • What types of events do you specialize in?

    We specialize in weddings, corporate and social events. Some typical social events we do include, but are not limited to: birthday parties, club events, premiere/wrap parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, school events, holiday parties and festivals. We can perform for any type of occasion. We have the music, the equipment, and most importantly, the experience to perform for any type of event and any type of crowd.

  • Where are your based? Do you travel?

    We are based in Los Angeles, but we will travel to any destination you wish. Our DJs have performed all over the globe and we love to travel! Of course, keep in mind that additional travel charges may apply.

  • How much do you charge?

    It depends on several factors including the type of event and what type of package you need (i.e. how many hours, sound and lighting requirements, etc). If you are interested in receiving pricing information for your event, please contact us.

  • Do you have reviews and/or references?

    Yes, we have hundreds of real online reviews at The Knot, Wedding Wire, Google, and Yelp. We also have hundreds of references for all types of events. If requested, we are more than happy for you to contact some of our past satisfied clients to see what they have to say about us. Please just let us know, and we will give you their contact information.

  • Do you bring your own sound and/or DJ setup?

    Yes, typically, we bring all of our own pro-grade, industry standard sound and DJ setup to your event. However, some venues do have installed sound systems or do offer their own in-house a/v hookup for your DJ. If that's the case, we will contact the venue to determine their sound requirements. Additionally, if we are traveling, we may require sound and DJ setup to be provided, depending on the location of the event.

  • Are you just DJs or MCs too? Do you make announcements?

    Yes and yes! We believe that a significant, overlooked skill of a great DJ, is also being a great MC. We are all very comfortable on the mic and have several years experience as MCs as well. Our style is making well-timed announcements without being overbearing or cheesy. We want to get people involved and excited without stealing the spotlight from you and your guests.

  • What type of music do you play?

    All of our DJs specialize in the "open" format of DJing, which simply means we can play pretty much any genre of music. What type of music we play at each event depends on the type of event, the crowd, and most importantly, what type of music you want us to play!

  • Can we choose the music we want played? Do you take requests?

    Yes. We are extremely flexible when it comes to music selection for each event. Some clients will want to choose all the music to be played at their event, while others simply sit back and let us decide what music will be best for their event. Our recommendation is at the bare minimum, to provide us with at least some idea of what genres of music you want us to provide at your event. We are also always open to requests from your guests. After all, the goal is to make your guests happy as well. However, you can also ask that we do not take requests from your guests. Whatever you want from us, we can do. But the most important thing to remember is that we have enough experience to be able to read crowds and have an excellent judgment of what your guests will want to hear or will dance to.

  • Do you mix the music?

    Yes! Most DJs essentially do the same thing - spin records and entertain a crowd - but it's how we do it that makes the difference. In addition to reading the crowd and appropriate song selection, the fundamental skill of a great DJ is being able to mix, blend and transition different songs and genres together. Our DJs have the skill set and experience to seamlessly mix all different types of music together to create exciting live remixes and transitions that we will keep the energy on the dance floor, so the beat never drops.

  • Do you offer lighting?

    Yes, we offer all types of lighting options, including dance floor and decor lighting. Each event demands different lighting elements, and we would be happy to discuss options to best compliment the vision of your event. Lighting can really make a big impact on any space!

  • Do you offer photo booths?

    No, we do not offer photo booths. The focus of our business is offering you the best in DJ/MCs, sound and lighting. We feel that a great photo booth deserves great attention to detail, so we like to leave it to the pros - an actual photo booth company. We do have affiliate photo booth companies that we love working with and are happy to send you their way!

  • Do you book live musicians?

    We do not book live musicians separately from our DJ services (e.g., string quartet for wedding ceremonies, guitarists for cocktail hour, etc), however, we do book live musicians to play in conjunction with our DJ services (e.g. drummer, saxophonist, etc, to play with your DJ).

  • Do you offer silent disco?

    Yes, we offer silent disco headphones and transmitters as an add-on to our DJ packages. This has become a very popular (and very fun!) option over the last several years, especially at venues that have more strict ordinances for amplified sound. The silent disco is a great option to allow the party to keep going!

  • Do you require a contract and deposit?

    Yes, a signed contract along with a deposit is required for booking us for any event. Our contract is designed to be very straightforward so you can understand the terms and feel a high level of trust prior to and during your event.

  • Are you insured?

    Yes, we are fully covered. We are more than happy to provide you or your venue with our appropriate insurance documentation.
